The City's elected officials who serve the city of O'Fallon and are responsible for determining city policy

Administration is responsible for implementation and coordination of policies created by the City Council. Also, this department handles all Human Resources issues.

The City Clerk handles Public Meeting Agenda, Minutes and Notices, Business Registrations, Cemetery Records, Keeper of City Records

The City Treasurer works in conjunction with the Finance Department and is responsible for a monthly treasurer’s report and the City's annual treasurer’s report.

The Public Works Department handles operation, maintenance, and capital improvement of infrastructure, consisting of water distribution system, sanitary sewer collection system, sanitary sewer treatment system, stormwater collection system, streets, and facilities.

The Finance Department's responsibilities include payroll, accounts payable and receivable, accounting, purchasing, and procurement. The Finance Assistant is also responsible for assisting the auditors and for filing taxes.

The O'Fallon Fire Department protects a 44 square mile area which includes the City of O'Fallon, the Village of Shiloh, and the unincorporated areas of O'Fallon, ShilohValley, Caseyville, and St. Clair Townships.

The Library provides books, newspapers, books on tape/CD, music, computer software and videos as well as access to the internet.

The Parks and Recreation Department provides recreational opportunities for people of all ages, as well as maintains all park facilities and the cemetery within the City of O'Fallon.

The Planning & Zoning Department handles zoning and building issues as well as annexation, building permits, inspections, and commercial development.

The Water & Sewer Billing Division processes requests for water start up as well as discontinuation of services. They can set up leak checks on meters and dispatch emergency shut-off requests. They also provide payment options for water and sewer billing. In addition to requests for these services, all water and sewer billing questions should be directed here.
